The Jiffy peat pot is 100% biodegradable and is therefore a sustainable solution for growing young plants. This large peat pot is ideal for potting young plants. Many cucumber growers use this pot to grow the young seedling in the pot for longer.

If the plants are large enough you can plant them in the open ground. You do NOT need to remove the jiffy pot. The roots will grow through the wall of the peat pot. So you have no waste and the roots suffer less damage when transplanting, which causes less stress for the plants. The result will be faster growth and strong, healthy plants.
